Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 2026 · Governing domain: bodymetric.site
Calculations run entirely in your local browser runtime via TypeScript.
Your weight, height, age, calories, and results are never recorded.
No account creation, passwords, or personal identity verification required.
1. Client-Side Computational Architecture
BodyMetric was architected with a fundamental privacy design principle: your health data belongs exclusively to you. All mathematical evaluations—whether computing Basal Metabolic Rate, One Rep Max, Body Surface Area, or Race Time predictions—execute locally in your device's browser memory.
When you enter numbers into any of our 152 calculators, those numbers are never transmitted over network sockets to any backend database or remote server.
2. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Configuration
We utilize Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-NG6Z6GPBQ4) solely to understand overall website performance, identify broken links, and measure aggregate visitor counts.
To strictly protect your personal health privacy, our GA4 implementation adheres to the following non-negotiable safeguards:
- Strict Biometric Redaction: We NEVER transmit weight, height, age, body fat percentage, caloric intake, target weight, or calculation results to Google Analytics.
- IP Anonymization: IP addresses are truncated/anonymized by default.
- Generic Event Tracking: We record only high-level, non-sensitive navigation events (e.g. calculator page views, category browsing, and search queries).
3. Cookies & Local Storage
BodyMetric does not set tracking cookies or commercial advertising cookies. Any local state maintained in your browser (such as input defaults or measurement unit preferences) is stored purely in local memory and is never shared with third parties.
